Dennis L. Despite a diagnosis of terminal cancer, Penny said his faith is strong and he is thankful for the life he has lived, much of which he devoted to various charity projects. His hat, given to him by one of his five granddaughters, holds a double meaning. As a child, he was called Frog because of his short temper, "it don't take much to make a frog jump," he explained. The nickname took on a new meaning in adulthood when Penny found God; the nickname now refers to the acronym on his hat, Fully Rely On God. Penny died Dec. 2, 2018.
